The bowl itself is a shallow, open lacework of wild honeysuckle, pale straw with a warmer vine run through the rim. No dye, no finish — the color is the vine's own, deepening the longer it sits in the light. At nine and a half inches, it's a low, easy shape for the center of a table or the top of a console.
The weave is open, so it's happiest with things that have some heft — a few lemons, a folded linen napkin — rather than anything small enough to slip through. A harvest motif, on a bowl made for the table. Fitting.
