Anne McCauley gathers wild honeysuckle vine in Virginia, strips it, and weaves it into an oval bowl with a softly banded rim and two sculpted leaves resting along one side. The open lattice keeps it light and airy, while the wheat-and-honey tones warm up marble, wood, or stone.
At roughly thirteen inches long, it’s an easy, everyday centerpiece: shallow enough for dinner rolls, citrus, or folded linen napkins, and pretty enough to leave empty as a bit of tabletop sculpture. On an entry table it corrals keys and mail; on a coffee table it frames shells or matchbooks from favorite trips.
