Modern Snifter

EMPTY DOM REMOVE PROTECTOR
Sale price$55.00

Most glasses hold a drink. This one reveals it.

There’s a reason the snifter has held its place for so long.  It isn’t just tradition—it’s function.  A wider bowl allows the spirit to open up. A narrower rim gathers everything back in. The result is something you don’t just taste—you notice.

This handblown version from Terrane Glass takes that familiar shape and refines it...Slightly more angular.  Balanced in a way that feels intentional, the moment you pick it up.

Craftsman Profile

Terrane Glass

Terrane Glass is made in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains—an area prized by glassmakers for its exceptionally pure minerals. Here, molten glass is gathered from the furnace, blown and shaped by hand, and slowly cooled to produce barware with remarkable clarity and balance.

Today the studio is carried forward by Tadayoshi and Keikichi Littleton, glassmakers whose family helped shape the American studio glass movement. Their grandfather, Harvey Littleton, is widely credited with bringing glassmaking out of factories and into independent craft studios in the 1960s.

Terrane’s signature Oklahoma and No. 12 collections reflect that tradition: clean forms, balanced weight, and glass clear enough to let the character of bourbon or whiskey take center stage.

Each piece is hand-blown in small batches—simple, beautifully made barware designed for the ritual of a good drink
