Cynthia Main and her husband Doug are co-founders of Sunhouse Craft, a studio based in Berea, Kentucky, specializing in hand-crafted brooms and wooden wares. Her work focuses on traditional craft techniques consistent with her location in Berea, the heart of preserving traditional Appalacian crafts for over a century.

Cynthia is widely recognized as a leader in the current revival of handcrafted broom making. Her brooms often utilize sustainably sourced materials like Tampico fiber and local woods, reflecting her commitment to environmental responsibility.

Do you offer returns?

We aim for all our customers to be happy with their order, and do what it takes to make things right.

Do understand though that as most of our products are handmade and not mass produced, there will be some variation in finish, color, or size. But if any product arrives damaged, we will happily replace it. Please send back your return within 14 days of receiving it.

Do you ship overseas?

How long will it take to get my orders?
