Artful pouring with beautifully colored, hand-blown glass

Crafted by celebrated glass artist Hayden Wilson, this hand-blown glass pitcher is more than just a vessel—it's a conversation piece. Each one is individually made, resulting in subtle variations that speak to the soul of true craftsmanship.

Graceful curves, a balanced handle, and a gently flared spout make it as functional as it is beautiful—perfect for serving iced tea on the patio, water at a dinner party, or fresh-squeezed lemonade on a slow Sunday afternoon.

Why We Love Hayden Wilson's Glassware

Glassblowing process with a hot glass orb and tool inside a furnace.

Rooted in the Appalachian Studio Tradition

Hayden works from a private studio in Asheville, NC — the center of Appalachian studio glass. His work sits within a tradition of Southern craft that values function and beauty equally, and resists the idea that handmade has to mean precious or impractical.

Colored Glass in the Murano Tradition

Hayden's colored and striped pieces are made in the tradition of Murano glasswork — a centuries-old technique of incorporating vibrant pigments into molten glass during blowing. The method is demanding, the results immediately recognizable, and the color does not fade.

From Functional to Sculptural

Hayden's work spans utilitarian pieces — pitchers, tumblers, salt cellars — and one-of-a-kind sculptures. That range isn't accidental. It reflects a maker who has fully mastered the medium and, when he chooses to make a drinking glass, makes one that's genuinely beautiful.

He has taught at renowned institutions like the Penland School of Craft and Pilchuck Glass School, pushing the boundaries of his craft.
